Just to add to what CNKS has said. I think the carbs on the 300 and 350's are the newer style. The idle mixture screw is on the flange where the carb bolts onto the manifold a little higher than the idle speed screw. The older style carb has the idle mixture screw below the idle speed screw. It is pointing down on an angle. Either style of carb, both the idle mixture and idle speed screws are on the top half or throttle body portion of the carb. The idle speed screw will always be the one that is inline with the tube that connects to the govenor. The high speed or main jet screw is on the bottom half or bowl of the carb. Hope this helps ya. Cheers! Sid
