Recommend you get a copy of I & T Shop Service book IH-8. Study up the situation then have at it. My IH parts man told me all them little widgets inside the valve are available as individual items, but for some reason there is no complete, all in one, kit. The book has good text and good illustrations. I got mine (IH-10) at Orschlen. Good luck!

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
