400D ENGINE SPEED REVISITED

THANK YOU DIESEL DUG. I HAVE INCREASED THE HIGH IDLE ENGINE SPEED FROM 1680 TO 1900 RPM. IS THIS TOO MUCH? I BOUGHT AN MD A FEW YEARS AGO AND IT RUNS AT 2050 RPM.I TURNED THE OTHER ADJUSTMENT SCREW IN 1/2 TURN BUT I DO NOT HAVE EXCESSIVE SMOKE YET. HOW FAR CAN I GO? THE MOTOR HAS BEEN COMEPLETELY REBUILT. I PLOWED WITH IT LAST NIGHT AND IT SURE SEEMED TO HAVE MORE POWER. I CAN'T WAIT TO DYNO IT.
