Super M Serial Number ( wow im putting a lot on h

I got out to look at the serial number today for one of the Super M's.... it is K - 44747 and then it has a J a little while after it... ..... I am making a book for my grandpa on the history and background to all his tractors.. so if anyone could get me the background to this particular tractor that would be awesome!
