Sounds to me like you got carb problems. Pretty simple to diagnose.. First thing I would do is check the Main Metering Jet- both holes - especially the little one in the end. Run a fine wire through, make sure it is not plugged. Then check to see if a little choke will help. If so, most likely a air supply problem. Have you checked the sediment bowl and made sure that there is no junk in the fuel? Really sounds like a fuel supply issue..if you go to the Cub Manual Server at www.cleancompute.com/Cub/index.html and check out Lurker Carl's Carb Fixes under Maintenance Tips and Techniques, you will probably find the solution to your problem.
