I have a 1984 Int. 584 utility tractor. It is geardrive. The steering has become really loose(the steering wheel can be turned maybe a half turn before the wheels begin to turn. It has a hydralic cylinder behind the front axle that moves the wheels. I haven"t torn the sheetmetal off but I can"t see any other parts to the steering system. I"m no mechanic and do very little of my own work. Anybody know this system and where I need to look for the problem? Is there a gearbox with an adjustment for this steering system. Thanks for any help.
