Mike when I bought the 544 I had the carb was dripping so in the deal they were to fix it. When it was delivered it was running like that. A friend of mine fixed it didn't know what he did, because he was doing some other stuff on it like a major over haul?? Moral to story don't go look at a used tractor on a cold day and take your wife, you might not look at it long enought. About six months later the carb pluged up and I put it togather wrong, called my friend he came over took it apart turned the venturia, and this time I knew was he did. Glad I could help. Jim
