Hi Brookerhollow, re knotter, if twine that is left on the bill hook is long enough to go around the bale, then the probable cause is a dull twine knife. If the twine is to short the the twine is slipping out of the twine disk. Be sure to use good quality twine and the thicker twine 9000 ft. The IH knotters could not tolerate twine that had thick and thin spots. The thin spots would always slip out of the twine disk. JB2
