Jim - Those low compression motors were designed to run on kerosene (octane rating WAY less than 80). They'll run fine on the cheapest gas you can buy. Running super premium benefits only the oil company! Suggest however you put in a set of "hot" spark plugs - Champion D-21 or equivalent.
