Farmall B's

I just purchased a Farmall B. I suspect it is a BN because the rear isn"t the typical offset wide look, I am just not sure because I am unable to find a serial plate on the tractor anywhere. Is there another way to be sure other than to measure the rear axle? If not then where should I take my measurements, inside the tires or outside the tires? Thanks for the help.
