Hi Cowman, I can't get hay dry, here in northeast Ia. I cut some 3rd crop alfalfa hay wednesday and it will be monday at the earliest before it's dry enough to bale. I cut with a 450 diesel and a 499 New Holland hydraswing haybine. I will be small square bale all of this crop with a 300, and a 435 bailer. I have all 50 acers down now. This hay was cut only 21 days ago, and it was up to the push bar on the haybine, and 35% blomed out, The cows should milk with that kind of hay. I have never had hay grow that fast. I got 10 inches of rain in july and had very little run off, and had all that heat to go with it. The mosquitos are visious. Keith
