Might be a good idea to pull the head off and see what's going on inside. It isn't difficult to pull the head and not much expense for gaskets to put it back on. I made the mistake of using force to free an engine of a Super M and bent a rod in the process. It would have been cheaper and easier for me to remove the head to begin with. Just my two cents worth!
