Not sure about your H, I've never looked at one that close. I've got an F12 and no fuel pump.

If the H has a cam driven fuel pump fuel may get by the diphram of the fuel pump and fill the crank case.

My buddy had a Ford truck do that and almost blew us both to kingdom come.
