I tried to post a followup to your message yesterday but it never appeared so I will try again. When you refer to the lift pump, are you talking about what is sometimes called the primary pump? That is the pump on the right side, (looking forward from the seat) with a primer handle on it? I am only aware of the injection pump and the primary pump. If an electric pump were to be used, would it just be connected between the lines and bypas the old pump that is mounted to the block? Forgive my ignorance but I know very little about these things. Hope this message gets posted.
