When my Dad rebuilt his super C 20+ years ago he replaced the warped oil pump cover with a new one and fabricated a steel retainer that applies pressure to the area between the cover bolts. If My memory is correct the retainer is about 3/16 or 1/4" thick by about 5/8" steel strap. It is bent and welded to follow the shape of the flange of the cover. It is held with the same bolts as the cover. Mechanics at the dealer said these engines never had good oil pressure, But this one still does after many hours of field work.
