Guy, thanks for the info. When you say "inefficient" belt drive,
what does that mean? Is the front belt drive more prone to
slippage via the belt or internal energy loss due to right angle
bevel gears or some other gear/internal clutch aspect? Was the
Electrall belt or gear driven? If it was belt driven, it must have
been a really compact belt.
