Well! Let me educate you, the real reason that "THOSE" tractors are painted green in the first place is so they can easily just hide in the grass and watch the real (red) tractors get the work done. The pirpose of the glass is to catch dust and other foriegn material before it gets to the oil bath and really clogs things up. Now, if you are out mowing with your Farmall, and a green tractor is hiding in the grass, well, I guess you know where that foriegn material will end up. My H has one captured and it only has to mow short grass. I don't know where that green thing came from, but so far it is not causing any problems so I guess I will leave it in the jar for awhile.
