restoring Farm-all super C

hi all i am new here to the forum so please bare with me if this question was asked already my uncle as a farmall super c (not sure what year it is)and i am going to be talking to him about restoring it to running and show order but i need to know where to look for the serial number so i can figure out when it was built so i can get the right stuff to restore it this will be my first but hopefull not last project as my uncle has a farmall 400 that he uses to work on the farm and att it needs is a paint job and some decales any help would be gratefull Hawkeye
