turn up the radio or wear some ear muffs, pull the throttle open and enjoy plowing, don't get your coveralls in a bundle over a whine in a 30 year old brute. i had to take a few windows out of the cab on my 706 cause the whine was to much echoing in the cab. i thought the 766 was louder at first until i spent a few nights on a 1456 pulling a grain cart last fall. my neighbors are die hard ih fans and have just about every 06-56-66-86-88 tractor and they all whine. some more than others but they all whine. happy farming old man 8>) casey
