The flywheel is located or indexed to crankshaft with a tapered dowel pin.This pin is threaded internaly about 3/8 in.size. Do not attempt to pull pin out. Pull it along with flywheel useing a heavy washer and bolt.I always used the special O.T.C. puller set up to pull and push it on. They are tight! You may have tough time with a ordinary jaw type puller.
