It was running great, It just died, I thought it might have been electrical, I replaced the switch and resistor, and it is showing good spark at the plug wires. I got to run, but very poorly, spit sputtered, coughed, and evened coughed out the intake a few times. Then it suddenly ran great for a few minutes, then back to spitting and sputtering. Dad said it sounded like fuel to him. I pulled the fuel line loose from the carb, plenty of fuel to there. I pecked on the carb while it was trying to run, no change. I took the carb off and cleaned everything. I got carb cleaner to blow through all the passages. I put it back together, and it still run poorly, then died. Now I can't even get it to start. Any suggestions? Jumped time? stuck valve or valves? busted manifold? trash in carb I missed? please help.
