I agree a fuel problem. Another item to check is the fuel shut off valve on the bottom of the fuel tank. Turn this "T" handle shut off valve back and forth a few times.

If that solves your problem, take the time to remove the shut off valve, fuel tank and clean both out really good. If not they will probably plug again very shortly.

Diesel's need clean fuel and air. That's 99% of keeping a diesel running in top shape.

Buy a orperator/repair manual for both tractors. Best $100 you'll ever spend.
