Went to adjust the brakes on the 300 today for the first time since I've had it. Problem is that I can get a wrench on the adjusting nut after loosening the jam nuts on the right brake but there is no room to turn the wrench. Do I have to take the foot rest off to be able to adjust the right brake? Only problem with that is the brake springs attach to the bottom of the foot rest and without the footrest I would have nothing to measure from for the free play. Help!!!!
