Yes I believe it is all just a single action - only up. However the the dip is gone from the cap, not sure even if the cap is original. I will know more when I get a look at the manauls - but you say the lift all information was not contained in the manuals - i ordered the op, service and parts manuals - if you do find that manual......and want to part with it, or copy me some of the info - my email LTHEDANSKER@AOL.COM Much appreciative for the information Chris L - in Maine

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
