Decal Question

When I bought the H the original decals were still legible. The hood read "McComick-Deering" (if I recall). When I replaced the decals, the new decals read "International Farmall". I see some pictures with just "McCormick". What should a 1944-1945 H have for decals? I bought the new decals at the IH dealer. They sold me the H kit which had "International Farmall". I guessing this confusion is the result of changes within the company. Anyone know the order and dates of these changes. PS. the serial number of the H is 144288, looking at my book, makes it a 1944?? But 1944 was a five(5) digit ser.# and 1945 was a six(6) digit ser. #, what year is mine??
