It's been a while since I was into one of these. I'm not sure if there would be enough room to get to the bolts or not. I think it would be worth a try to remove the cross shaft and the clutch fork to see if you can do it. Pretty tight up in there to get to the bolts on the clamp of the clutch fork. Have you gotten the bolts out of the coupling on the main drive shaft??
