Whoa! I think you are being a little unfair. Navistar has sent out thousands and thousands of gas caps. I have recieved at least 10 in two shipments. But you know the funny thing, the originals work pretty well, and if you don't ovefill your fuel tank, and if you are not an idiot, you won't have a fire. I overfilled a C one time, splashed gas on the starter, like an idiot tried to start it anyway, and it caught fire. It has never happened to me again, and I take responsibility for my actions. I didn't try to sue anybody for my stupid act. If you see gas splashing out of your cap area it is you that must stop the tractor. The giveaway was based on people who had gas splashing out and still continued to use their tractor. Yours was probably lost in the mail.
