Nat, All letter series Farmalls were available in gasolene, kerosene or distilate versions. I own a 1940 A distilate. Not only did it have the auxillary gasolene tank for starting, but they also were equipped with radiator shutters, special manifold, and the carburetor was configured with a drain cock on the bottom to purge the distillate or kerosene out of the line after use to enable easier starting when they were next started.
