The manifold is 2in IPS, when you go to your friendly plumber to get the tap ask him to cut you a 10in piece of 2in Sch 40 pipe , have him cut a deep thread on it, this will allow it to be screwed in about three turns farther, Be very carefull when trying to tap the manifold as they will break very easy.
