You may want to get a 4" rotary mower (bush hog) instead of the sickle bar mower. Sickle bars are, primarily, used for hay. Anything very large with woody stems can and will break the teeth on your cutter bar. The rotary mower will power through saplings and the like much better and a 4" won"t require much HP. You can get the adapters at TSC, Rural King or about any farm supply or implement business.
