How the sickle mower will fit on your tractor depends on the mower. If it is a three point mower, it will be difficult. If it is an old trail behind mower of almost any brand it can be made to fit. Most old mowers have a wide hinge on the drawbar so the mower turns with the tractor. On IH H and M mowers this is a long flat bar turned up on rach end. The bar bolts to the drawbar and the turned up ends have holes to pin to matching holes on the mower. Most old mowers don't have the part that attaches to the tractor, it was in the barn and lost, typically. But it is relatively easy to build a new piece to match the front of the mower to the drawbar. Most mowers use hydraulics, but it is not necessary. You can get off the tractor, lift the cutter bar, and latch it in place without the hydraulics. You may find the hydraulics are easy to fix, like putting oil in or tightening the bolt that holds the control arm on.
