My lights are bolted in place, and I do believe that the M&W governor is aftermarket. Too bad about your lights, but if the governor works well, I would not be too bothered by it. There are thousands of H's (I'm sure H's is not grammatically correct....) so it might be nice to have one that was a little different, unless you are a nut for originality.
