I think that whine is natural on 460's. They say it is better for it to just leave the PTO engaged (on) all the time -better for it to turn than to have the brake holding all the time. I usually forgot & dis-engaged the PTO on our 460 for 33 years & the whine was just there for 33 years. Kind of miss the ole 460.
