Thanks Magman. I do have good snap. I tried Kevins suggestion yesterday. I went from 20 to 15. did no good. I guess I will move the rotor a tooth at a time not sure if to advance or retard though. seems that retard may be the way to go. although I am not getting any kick back on the crank. I spose I can flip a coin. Thanks again ya'll Herb
