Second I never ran a 50" deck but the 129 may be a bit
underpowered? How short are you mowing the grass?
The knob came loose on my cub and left the deck mow
on the runners. That left streaks between the blades, I
set it to mow 2.5" and it went away. My 1650, 682, 1512
cub cadet"s all with 44" decks on them mow very well.
Look like a modern one mowed the lawn.

One last thing years ago my grandfather bought a
brand new garden tractor. He told the dealer that it did
not mow right. Dealer told him to get on and show him
how it mowed. When done the dealer told him "may I
suggest you get someone who has time to mow your
grass do the job, because you don"t"
