OT--Can this be for real? Adopt a cow?

I came across this website today. Can this be for real? "Adopt a genuine Sandhills range cow!!!!"" I am a livestock farmer myself, and care about animals...but c"mon, gimme a break!! But then, remember the "Pet Rock" craze of the seventies? I"m sure someone made a bunch of money on that too! I could maybe better understand a place that provides homes for abused or neglected animals, but this---Good Grief! Right now I got 20 steers out in my pasture, and I was planning on making money selling them to where they will be Big Macs next week. Something tells me I must be taking a totally wrong approach to my business!
