656, 806, backhoe... what do you think?

Hello,

I am trying to figure out what kind of tractor I want, and I have narrowed it down to a mid 60s or 70s International. I have a fairly small property >5 acres, and I want to be able to have a loader and a 3-point backhoe that can dig 5-6 feet deep. I am thinking that I should get something as compact as possible, but should still have a cat II hitch for the backhoe. Does anybody have any experience or opinion on 3 point hoes and what model or specs of IH would be best suited for them? I have Ken Updikes book on '55-'85 (great book by the way!) and am currently leaning towards something like the 656 or 806 (diesel, power steering, hydro etc).

Thanks for any tips or pointers, and especially if you have an IH with a 3-point backhoe on it.
