My understanding is that they're a love/hate machine. Either you loved them or hated them. They take some getting used to for driving if you've never been in one before, they make for a good cheap front wheel assist tractor, and if treated right they will last a while. With the exception of the 7000 series the front axles weren't heavy enough to handle the load they had. One of the guys at work used to have one and he said to leave the duals off the front so it can slip some under heavy pull. The only other thing that seems to be common on these is the hoods all have their problems of falling off or can't get them open(slight exageration). Myself, I don't mind them but there are other tractors that I'd take before a 2+2.
