The clutch brake on my IH 154 Cob Lo-Boy squeeks. And I mean squeeks!!!!! A few years ago, we replaced just about everything to do with the clutch ( main drive shaft, pressure plate, drive disk, transmission main top shaft, clutch brake pads, clutch brake springs, throw out bearing etc...). It worked great!!!. This year, the clutch brake started to squeek. I replaced the 2 different clutch brake springs and 2 pads. I mowed the lawn once, it was fine. I used it today and squeek, squeek squeek. It drove me nuts. I know that the brake is to be set .010". I put the plastic side of the brake pad near the part where the 2 adjusting nuts are (the wood like part does the braking). Any ideas?? Thanks!!!
