Sounds dangerous. The only things that went through the key switch from the factory were the idiot lights, the fuel guage, and the igintion. Your Case-IH dealer should be more than happy to make you a photocopy of the wiring diagram. Like tractor vet said, $20 spent on on relays and breakers is well worth it. Get the cab on it's own relay controlled by the key switch and then add a few breakers here and there. Make sure your relay is good for at least 30 amps.
