Stephen, These were the orginal resin impregnated umbrella style Purolator oil filters used on early A's and B's (and as previous post stated - some O's) This particular part number was for engine numbers 501 to 97937. An improved version of the filter was introduced under part number 63855-D and used in engines after #97938. FB
