The P in the casting codes stands for 46, you cand find other casting codes and see if they all are the same or close. Some parts may not have always been cast the same year. You can also find the engine serial number I think it is on dist. side on the A. It will be on a flat surface and stamed into the block. The exhaust lift you are talking about was not hydraulics, it used the pressure of the exhaust to raise implement through a valve and a large diameter cylinder, instead of oil. With this style lift it should be and A. Which they last A was in 48, so this goes with your 46 casting code.j=40 k=41, l=42, m=43 n=44 and so on.
