Well, at one time you could get them. Back in 95 I built a H farmall, that used a set of 301 LP high altitude pistons from IH, then in 97 or 98,, I built 2 more engines, that used the same piston, The sales clerk said, these are it, there are no more of the LP High altitude. The boxes they came in, looked like they were made in the stone ages. I kept the boxes just for nostalgia I guess. During htose times in my search for them, I sent back numerous sets of plain high alt pistons cause they were not what I was looking for at the time. They were just a step up from the original firecraters, just with a shallower dish in the piston dome to increase compression. Now, I cant find any at all. I kick myself cause I sent em back, I guess once they are gone, they are gone. I found a non IH piston that they say is a high compression piston VS the stock pistons offered, 80 bucks a hole, so Im having one shipped out to me to have a look... Chad
