The idler gear is the cam gear and the two dots line up with the two dots on mag drive. The single dot lines up with the gear on the crankshaft with single dot. Then when these alr lined up the mag rotor should be lined up with #1 post on the cap. Mite have to time the rotor gear to get them to get rotor in correct position. Been working on the As and Bs for many years and that is the procedure. Just make sure that #1 is on tdc compression when setting.
