My own rule of thumb (right or wrong), is if it has a TA, or obviously combined hyd/trans sump, then use hydra/trans. If not, like standard M, then 80/90 wgt gear oil. If I remember right, the owner's manual on my 350 (w/TA) called for 10wgt oil. I recall that Dad put 10 wgt non-detergent oil in the liftall on our old H. (that could have been just being cheap, too!)
