Look carefully at the threads on both the tank and the sediment bowl. Are you sure it is leaking at the threads? Look for cracks around where the tank threads are, maybe the weld is cracked. If all looks ok try a few extra wraps of the teflon tape. It has always worked for me. Fills in the imperfections in the threads. Good luck to ya
