I have a 1940 A as well. Like yours it to is equiped with the same size belly mower. I use it for finish mowing around the old home-place. I live in Texas so the climate is relatively warm. I assumed that my tractor was running hot because it would expell coolant from under the radiator cap after running for 15 minutes. I posted a question several months ago about that problem and learned that I simply had the radiator to full.
