Forgive my double post -- but I can"t find the thread I followed up to -- it was an old 2004 thread and I think it may be in the archive.... I"ve got a 706 that sat for 1 -3 years. I"ve drained the gas --- it was total varnish. Emptied and cleaned the sediment bowl. Removed, flushed and cleaned the fuel line. Removed the carb, had it soaked, and new gasket, float, and valve. (But not new solenoid) I can turn the 706 over -- and with small amounts of gas manually poured in the carb -- it will run -- but it"s dying as soon as that gas is gone. I"m probably forgetting something obvious - but is maybe the solenoid got the gas shut off? (yes, I"ve opened the gas at the bowl -- and gas flows well through the line up to the carb. What am I forgetting? What next? Thanks
