First, you cannot believe the listed shipping weights. The manufacturers understaded actual weight regularly. I had an M down to 5000 punds (including me) for pulling purposes. Hydraulic pump was removed. The stock cast wheels were replaced with pressed steel. No PTO. Some fluids removed. Other things too. A stock M probably weighs between 5250 and 5500 pounds.
