We had the same problem on our farmall 400. After
years of fighting, replacing parts and, adjusting. We
finally took a goood long look at the splines the disc
slide on. They had slight ridges on them. Took a
dremmel, ground the ridges smooth and trouble free for
2 years now! Sometimes things just wear that we don't
notice.
